George R. Gray
After a brief illness, George R. Gray, Civil war veteran, died at the home of his brother, Samuel Gray, Fourteenth and John Adams Streets, this city, at 11:30 o’clock Friday morning. Mr. Gray came to Oregon in October from Boliver, Mo., and since that time has made his home here with his brother. Funeral services were held in this city Sunday afternoon from the Holman undertaking parlors with interment in the Mountain View cemetery. Members of the Meade Post, attended the services in a body. Rev. E. E. Gilbert of the Methodist church, delivered the funeral sermon.
