Hubert, William Gordon

William G. Hubert, of this city, died at the family home on Molalla Avenue, Wednesday morning after an illness of several months. He came to Oregon City four months ago from Kansas for the benefit of his health.

Mr. Hubert was a native of Germany, and was born June 6, 1844, and came to the United States many years ago, residing for some time in Kansas.
The deceased is survived by his widow, of this city; and the following children: George Hubert, of Kansas; William Hubert, of Washington; Fred Hubert, of Mexico; Edward Hubert, of France; a member of the Eighth Hospital Corps; Mrs. G. W. Gillett, of Portland; and Miss Charlotte Hubert, of Oregon City.
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from Holman & Pace’s funeral parlors. Rev. W. T. Milliken, pastor of the Baptist church, will officiate.

The funeral of the late William G. Hubert was held from the Holman & Pace chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with Rev. W. T. Milliken officiating. Members of Meade Post, G. A. R. of which the deceased was a member, attended the services in a body.
