Aged Veteran Passes Away
L. D. Rockwell, an uncle of the late Frank A. Sleight, died Saturday at Canby. He was a veteran of the Civil War and was a member of Meade Post No. 2, Grand Army of the Republic. The funeral was held Monday afternoon and the services were in charge of the Post. The interment was in Mountain View cemetery.
