Rowen, Miles

Oregon City Courier, Friday, February 27, 1903

Miles Rowen, an old resident of this city and well known in G. A. R. circles, died Monday evening at his home after a long illness with pneumonia. During the Civil was he was a member of Company E, Fourth Indiana Cavalry. He was 82 years of age and leaves a wife and five children to mourn his demise. Funeral services were held under the auspices of the Meade Post, No. 2 G. A. R. after which the remains were interred in the city cemetery.
