A. Dull, Aged 82, Dies At His Home
A. Dull, who has been a member of the Methodist church for 45 years, died at his home Monday in his 83rd year. The funeral will be held 2 o’clock this afternoon from the funeral parlors of Myers & Brady, Tenth and Water streets.
Mr. Dull was born in Somerset county, Penn., December 3, 1833 and married Betsy Miller when a young man. She died in January 1866, and in July 1866, he wedded Mrs. Louisa McCaskey, who died in 1897. Of the 15 children born to his two unions, twelve are still living. He is survived by 37 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The children are: Mrs. Rachel Reed, of Willamette; Mrs. Laura Smith, of Gladstone, Mrs. Grace Ingram, of Oregon City; Henry Dull, of Ruskin, Nebr., Mrs. Uda Morhead, of Nora, Nebr.; Mrs. Hattie Stewart and Mrs. Chloe Hummel, of Boswick, Nebr.; Mrs. Ettie Lewis, of Ralston, Wyo.; Charles Dull of Cokeville, Wyo.; and George Dull and Miss Verona Dull, of Kendon, Kan.
Biographical information states that he moved to Oregon after 1880 to be near his daughters.
